We have decided to focus our energies into the development and upliftment of specific areas this year, so as not to divide our core resources throughout the Cape Province. The communities we have chosen to focus on are:

A small enclave called Uitsig,Hermanus, and Manenberg

There is much work to be done in this area with specific attention needed on the youth in this area. There are vast avenues open to reach out to the youth of this impoverished community and make life a little more enjoyable or maybe a lot more with your help, insha’Allah.

Another project initiated at the beginning of last year by the MSA of the Cape spearheaded by our ameer Ashiq Allie was the renovation of a Jammat Khana in Hermanus. The small room used as a JK is in the process of being transformed into structure of Hope for this Hermanus community. As it is the only Masjid in a 40 km Radius, it will be used by many holiday makers, especially in the Wale season as their Jumuah Pitstop. [Download Progress Report Below]

Another project we would like to undertake are health info clinics with facilities for diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol testing and counseling to be held in disadvantaged communities.
