In this programme we work with the high schools committees to organise events that can be done together by all high schools and also provide for their training needs. A large focus of the training this year will be on Leadership Development. The Leadership Development programme will be held over 4 sessions during the year. Volunteers are needed to organise and run Leadership Development programmes. Volunteers are also needed to assist to organise events that are conducted by all High Schools. Other events that will be organised: Hikes, excursions, sporting events, iftaars and camps etc.
Mentoring Programme
The mentoring programme is aimed at assisting MSA of the Cape High
Schools to operate efficiently. One mentor will be allocated to each of
the high schools to assist in whatever the needs of the high
school are. About 20 volunteers are needed who have worked on MSA
projects at University Level or a member of the community who will be
willing to be trained.
Duties of the mentor:

Meet with the High School executive committee at least twice a month.

Have telephonic contact with the committee at least once a week.

To draw up a progress report once a month to be submitted to the MSA of the Cape Trustees.

To actively participate in organising the events of the High School MSA
